Growing up Drippy Drips’ biggest advocates were his parents directing him towards greatness in every aspect. Though unlike most children his age his hero was neither from DC nor Marvel it was simply his father. The bright and passionate personality stemmed from Drippy Drip thriving to be just like his father. He was certain there was no greater ecstasy in the world than enjoying music with his father especially rap, or hip-hop. However, he had felt that there was something further.
A simple yet significant thought had struck the young Drippy Drips’ mind that would forever alter the path he was walking down. The several artists he had heard fueled his idea let alone his imagination. He thought that he could do the same, so over the years, he worked in silence. Perfecting his craft with a pen and paper at hand. Gaining the opinions of peers. He was determined for greatness and truly believed he would become a star and an inspiration for many.
The look of awe and joy from his family and friends was never too far for the optimistic rapper. He patiently awaited when he would see the light at the end of the tunnel. That was until the tunnel became a maze.
At the age of 13 Drippy Drip had suffered a loss that would forever be remembered to him. A close friend whose name is yet to be known had passed away due to gun violence at a traffic light. This emotionally scarred Drippy Drip causing him to go into a spiral of deep depression. He spent his days wallowing in sadness, heart as cold as ice and no interests or ambitions. Optimism and shine that were once apparent in his eyes were non-existent. The pen and paper were just a thing of the past. With nowhere to run or hide it was consuming him bit by bit hour by hour. A few months later he found himself backed into a corner there was nothing left, so he once again as a last resort picked up the pen and paper, projecting his feelings onto the paper or as Drippy Drip would call it “sad songs”. This would help him cope with the pain he felt reminiscing about his dearest friend.
Fast forward 3 years later at the age of 16 when reciting his raps to a friend who made beats his friend had suddenly proposed an idea. His friend asked if he would make songs with him. This proposition brought back the same glare filled with optimism and ambition in Drippy Drips’ eyes. He agreed and they got to work at the studio like hungry lions. Now it is said that Drippy Drip is sitting on three unreleased songs and one album.
